ELVIS, THE LEGEND CONTINUES

Elvis, who was he? What was he? To many people he was the king of Rock, or just simply –‘ THE KING’ But how can someone who is an ordinary human being, just like all of us, bring so much influence to this place we call earth? Even to this day and age of society, with all the Entertainers, Groups, Bands all kinds of Artists, Elvis the ‘King’ still leaves a huge impact on us.

Could it be? The swivelling hips, or the Charisma that he had? Or simply the warm smile with the killer blue eyes, that would leave a tingle down your throat? Ok so if we were to put all these things together into a complete package, and bang! There you have, one incredibly handsome man, who not only was the greatest Singer/Entertainer the world had ever known, but this man, has the biggest fan base all over the world to this day..

So today even the youngest of people seem to get a kick out of Elvis Phenomena, which is
great to know, as l myself happen to be a huge Elvis fan, and i just love his music. Even since i was a kid, instead of being with the other kids my age, playing in the park, Nope! I was in my room listening to Elvis, and by the time i was 10 i actually memorized all of his songs, what a shock to some this may be?..Now you are probably wondering,” Why would a kid like me not play with normal kids, instead of staying in her room and playing music?” Well the fact of the matter is, I guess l wasn’t a normal kid.LOL.

So now our Elvis has gone, but not forgotten- Not forgotten in his music, movies, or even in our hearts. This man was so special to many people and touched them in so many different ways, that is hard to just forget him, so l guess he left this legacy of continuation throughout this entire world. Many people want to keep this memory alive in lots of ways, like ETA’S...This stands for Elvis Tribute Artists.

These people are wonderful in what they do to portray Elvis, considering for many of us, we never got the chance to see the real Elvis. These people dedicate their time in trying to recreate, what we the fans missed out on. I know that they all do a fantastic job, and i am also sure that many people enjoy watching the shows..So a big thank you to those ETA’S for keeping the memory of Elvis alive..

Now having seen a few ETA’S, i must say that we all do have our favourite ones, and i think that Elvis to the Max (Max Pellicano) is my favourite, let me tell you about this guy, who to this day just amazes me so much..Max with his incredibly good looks, and extremely awesome performances, just knocks out the crowd. He not only looks like Elvis, but the mannerisms, the movements, and even the karate moves, are just like the way Elvis used to do them. I actually sat in the Audience one day, and closed my eyes, and was just mesmerised to see that looking at Max, was like being transported back in time, watching Elvis.

Max has quite a lot of Jumpsuits etc, so when he does a particular song, his outfits go with that Era. But i would say that the jumpsuits look great on him. I also noticed that his band is huge; I’m talking about a 50 piece orchestra. So when Max goes on that stage, this is the whole shebang! Everything just lights up, like the Las Vegas. This is an incredible experience. Looking at the audience in the room, I can also see the amazement, the look on their face, as if to say, ‘WOW’ the guy is GREAT!!

So with this in mind and knowing that Elvis to the Max is the best Tribute Artist that I have seen, i have realised that i have become a fan of his, and so decided to create my own Elvis to the Max fan site on myspace.com.. If ever you do hear about Max touring in your city, please try and see the show, you won’t be disappointed, he truly is the closest you will ever come to the real ‘KING”.
