There is thousands of Elvis tribute Artists all around the world, and they continue to spread the memory of Elvis alive, by keeping his name and image with their shows. Although I must say that most of them are located in the US, particularly in Vegas, which is a little too far, but maybe one day, we can all go over there and watch them.
However, what I found quite annoying, is the fact that US and some other places all over the world seem to host the ‘Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition” and to my knowledge, I have never witnessed this event over here, in Australia. Could it be that no one is interested in hosting such a wonderful event? Or perhaps that it’s way too pricey for us to do anything about lt...
I think that should someone decide to host it over here, I would say that many Elvis fans would jump at the chance to watch such an event. Gosh, if I knew how this all works, and could afford doing it, I would actually pull it off. I also think that knowing a lot about Elvis himself, and his mannerisms as such; I would probably make a good judge. So what do you think? As a reader, I would love to hear your feedback on this; do you think that I could make it as a judge?
So moving right along, and speaking of this Ultimate Contest, I would like to mention a little about the current world champ..’Shawn Klush’ Shawn comes from Pittston Pennsylvania, and won the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest hosted in Memphis, to a packed out crowd.
All the contestants were judged not only by performance, but also by Appearance, by a panel of judges. Shawn’s winnings total around US $5000/ AUS $6300. In addition, not to mention a $5000 Graceland gift card/voucher.
So good on you Shawn for winning first place in this comp. And a big thank you, not only for a job well done, but for keeping the memory of Elvis alive in the work that you do..

He trully resembles Elvis in many ways!!
